Chief Color Theorist

“Every car is a projection of its owner’s inner life. Some are well-balanced. Others are primer gray with one yellow mirror..” — Babes Bygge-Richards

About BABES BYGGE-RICHARDS

Babes Bygge-Richards is KaleCoAuto’s Chief Color Theorist and resident authority on paint, polish, and public shame. On Sundays, she can usually be found staring at the New York Times crossword in quiet rage, pretending she doesn’t Google the names of 14th-century Flemish painters. She eats sesame noodles in portions that are technically a cry for help and only orders black coffee when someone is watching, otherwise, it’s a venti frappuccino with extra whip and none of your business.

Babes holds a very impressive graduate degree, though the exact details are fuzzy and may involve metaphysics, semiotics, or postmodern door theory. More importantly, she has written over 200 pieces of Doctor Who fan fiction, most of which she still considers canon. (12 is the best.)

She believes every car tells a story, some just lie more convincingly than others

Professional Background

Babes holds a graduate degree she no longer mentions, unless there’s someone intelligent enough to be impressed by it. She was once hired to decorate a children’s hospital wing, but is no longer welcome back due the hospital director’s inability to appreciate fine art and design.

At KaleCoAuto, she handles hue selection, trim disputes, and stepping in when someone tries to pair matte olive with pearl white. Her rule is simple: if your car makes a statement, make sure it isn’t “I’ve given up.”
